COSMETIC DENTISTRY
HEALTH, BEAUTY AND COMFORT.

Cosmetic Dentistry is comprehensive oral care that combines art and science to optimally improve dental health, aesthetics and function. Today's common cosmetic dental treatments include:

Whitening, or "tooth bleaching"
While many over-the-counter whitening products are now available, dentist-supervised treatments remain the recommended procedures for lightening discolored teeth. We are able to get closer matches and make sure that whitening doesn't hurt too much of your tooth structure.

Full-mouth Reconstruction
When your bite is incorrect and causes pain and/or speech problems, or you are not happy with your side profile, Dr. Robert McDowell can talk with you about full-mouth reconstruction. Often this includes jaw surgery, extractions and veneers to achieve a healthy and aesthetically-pleasing bite and profile.

Veneers
If you are interested in closing gaps or disguising discolored teeth that don't respond well to whitening procedures, a thin layer of restorative material can be placed over a tooth surface. Veneers are used to improve the esthetics of a tooth, or to restore a damaged tooth surface.
